"Always ask for credential" active/inactive?

Hi,
What do you mean, it seems to be active ? You are prompted for the credential even if you have it set ?

with "Session specific credentials" and "Always ask for credential" everything works fine - always a prompt for user/password when session is started.
but, when changing to "Embedded credential entry" the "Always ask for credential" option is greyed out (seems to be inactive and cannot be changed), but there is still a prompt for user/password at every session start.
When switching back to "Session specific credentials", unmarking "Always ask for credential", and changing to "Embedded credential entry" then everything works fine and there is no further prompt.

Thank you for detailed description, it's seems to be a bug. I logged it.

I'm still having the same problem in 6.5.0.0 but the same workarond hugofant suggested still works.
