Batch Edit Feature

Would it be possible to have more granularity in the Batch Edit feature.
For example, in the Batch Edit->Edit Sessions (General Settings) I would like to select multiple objects and change only the contact address details and nothing else. Currently performing a Batch Edit Changes every field.
