Hi,
In my Company, we use Pleasant Password server as a password repository.
Of course each users have different access to Pleasant Password server.
We set the credential of connections to "My Personal Credential" to have the possibility for each users to access his pleasant session.
Problems: When a user specify the entry in Pleasant Password as the password, all the connection will take this password link.
There is a way to have individual and personal link for each connection to pleasant password ?
Thee is also a way to not store the "pleasant password" password access in the settings ? (like ask only one time per session)
Thanks you
Yann
what kind of data source are you using in RDM?
Maurice
thanks for reply :-)
The source is Sql via MS sql express
I do not have pleasant server installed so that part will have wait for later, but since you are using an Advanced Data source, you can take advantage of two mechanisms for using your own credentials
First as the "my personal credentials" feature, but typically this is to emulate the windows credentials of your windows session.
Second is the "Private vault", this allows you to create all types of entries, including credentials, that are private to you. The best way to use these is by using the "User specific settings" to override what has been defined in the entries.
