I was presented with this login information:
https://citrix.company.com/
login:yourcitrixlogin
PASSWORD:yourcitrixpassword
machine name is:
dev-app01
login to machine:
domain\yourdomainusername
password:
yourdomainpassword
However, when I look at the citrix login information in remote control manager, I don't see any of these options.
Is there is a tutorial or instructions on how to setup a citrix login?
Same problem here - remotedesktopmanager tries to connect to the specified address on port 1494 when only 443 is actually open since it's going thru the Citrix Webinterface.
Is there a solution for this?
Hi,
I not a specialist of Citrix, if someone have a solution how to use that with the activex, let me know.

What are the instructions for the Citrix type?
Hi David
I'm not sure if that's possible - under normal circumstances when using the Citrix Web Interface you click an application and it downloads a .ica file your client opens and connect to the published application or desktop.
An alternative that, if configured, works is using PNAgent to connect to an xml service and when authenticated it lists all available applications/desktops published to that user.
Not sure if any of this can be built into Remote Desktop Manager - the PNAgent functionality would be pretty awesome since with Citrix's own PNAgent you are only able to connect to a single address.
If you need access to some Citrix published desktops for applications for testing please let me know and I'll set something up for you.
Hi,
I will really appreciate to access a notepad. This will be awesome and I will be able to do some test. I don't know yet if this is possible but I really want to give it a try. You can send me an email at dhervieux AT devolutions.net

Hi David,
I'll set up a notepad login for you and email you the details - won't be too long.
Cheers
Is there any traction on this item?
Hi,
I never received the notepad login to do some test.

Hi David,
See PM
Sorry about the delay.
So is there any traction on this issue, I have a new client who uses Citrix exclusively and I have become addicted to the easiness of the tool. I hate looking up my credentials all of the time.
Sorry to be the source of your addiction:) I have a test platform ready to test. I only need some time. It's a crazy week. I will do my best to find out a solution.

Hi,
I did some test finally and the only solution for now is to create web connection instead of a Citrix connection. You can set the auto login and in the print screen you will see the html id required. You will be automatically logged but you will have to choose your application or desktop. I found that opening it in embedded mode is very slow, I looking at it, so for now open in external mode.

The attached image does not seem to coincide with what you are stating. It appears that you are using embedded mode with credentials. How can you do it otherwise?
Hi,
I don't understand why you said I used embedded, the display is External. Yes I entered the credential directly in the session but I could have used the credential repository (I tested and it works fine). Just make sure to select a Web Browser for the session type.

David is it possible to look at how Citrix themselves do it - with their online plugin they connect to an xml stream and loads the list of apps published.
Would be pretty awesome if some sort of functionality like this could be implemented.
Hi,
I did many test and I unable to get a result. I can read the xml but I'm unable to encrypt the password in the XML.
<Password encoding="ctx1">XXX</Password>
I did some test with the ActiveX also, again no result.
