best practice for working in a multi-user install

I'm trying to set up RDM in a multi-user environment.
I set up the SQL DB and used the security groups for managing the different duties.

I do not understand how I should work with the security repository for the individual.
I need every sys admin to log in via RDP using his own credentials and if I use the security repository I cannot do that.
I prefer not going each server and entering the saved password because when we change it (every 3 months) it will be a headache to change all the saved creds.

So, what is the best way to implement it ?

Hi,
You got a point, but this will be changed in the next version (maybe in the next beta release). For now you can only do a user override (User specific settings) for a session, so you have to do it for every session you don't want to share the settings.

The next version will allow you to do it for a repository. This mean that your user will be able to apply his own credentials to a repository entry.

So give me one or two weeks after the holiday, and I think that Iwill have a solution for you.

Hi,

When are you planning on implementing this ?, I really need it to deploy it to more admins.

Thanks.

Hi,
It's now available in the beta and it's also possible to use the local machine override. The final version should be released by the end of the month or at the beginning of February.
