Sluggish remote screens since Windows 8.1

I recently upgrade my pc from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1.
Since then the embedded/tabbed remote sessions are extremly slow. Double-clicking to open a folder in the remote sessions takes 2-3 seconds untill it opens, all the remote actions are delayed for 2-3 seconds untill I see the change on my screen. When I make the remote session external, everything is normal. Tried several servers, but all the same.
I use RDM Enterprise V8.0.12.0
