Could you try Ctrl+F5 to see if this make a difference? What type of data source?

Does you focus is on the RDP session or in the filter textbox? It seems that RDM does not trap the keystroke.

David Hervieux

the focus is on the session list .. arrow key up and down moves the cursor but f5 has no function ...
also changing the hotkey in the settings to "ctrl+f5" doesn't make it work ...

Could you go in Help->View application logs and open the Profiler. You should see the refresh logs. I want to verify if RDM trap the shortcut.

i upated to 9.0.9.0
i went to "help>view application log" and there is no such thing as "open profiler"

i opened "help>diagnostic" and clicked the button "launch profiler" which opens an empty window
hitting any key (tested "F5" and "F11") doesn't log anything.

F5: does nothing
F11: opens "connections.log"

please let me know how i can make the profiler log my actions.

It seems that RDM does not receive the refresh command. Could you try to change it for another shortcut. This would be just for a test.

changing the setting from "default" to "when not in session" seems to fix it.

are these hotkey settings saved in the "remotedesktopmanager.cfg"?
how would i deploy this setting if it is not?
