we would like to add users instead of each user.
how can this be achieved?

just found out that you can add Windows Groups via "roles" ...
gonna check that out ...

that is a feature of Remote Desktop Manager Server. You create a role that is in fact just a link to an AD group. When a user that is part of an group connects for the first time, a user record is created and granted the same rights as the role.

Is it required that you have RDM Server in order to make use of the roles, or does it work if you map it to an AD group with-in the application.
Also, do you have to assign it to a group. I've got an issue where I don't have AD groups (and can't get them built easily) so I wanted to just create 3 roles and then assign each user to a specific role, but can't find a way to do that.
AD integration is only for RDMS
Some data sources have a role feature, in the user management screen you would see a ROLES button if it is supported.
