9.06 performance issues

avatar

Hello,

Since the upgrade from 9.05 to 9.06 I'm experiencing performance / locks issues. The application hang on standard taks : opening and connecting to SQL, openning a connection. The hang take 5 to 15-20 seconds and then the application continue normally. No others changes have been done on my computer between the 2 versions.

Thank you to analyse.

UPDATE: just got the notification for 9.07. I will try with the last version and keep you informed if the issue is still present

Are you seeing any errors in the application log (Help -> View Application Log)? If so please post them here or via private message.

The "SqlException: Timeout expired" errors you are seeing in your application log explains the: What is happening.

Now the question is why. Are you experiencing any network related errors? Could you verify your SQLServer to make sure all is good. If you try to connect with the IP of the server instead of the name does that help?
