Hi,
We use a SQL data source. I had in verion 9.0.5.0 and also in the latest release a bug that when i open RDM and choose for offline i got a message that the SQL server is offline. The program works afterwards but result is that after openening the program and expand a random folder it hangs for a moment because it wants to read SQL. Is there a workaround or fixed scheduled?

This is odd, I will have a look that the issue. In the meantime can you please post your application logs? Help -> View Application Log.
Thanks

Mark,
I'm trying to reproduce the error without success. Could you please send me (private message if you like) your application logs (Help -> View Application Log). The error trace should help me shed some light on the issue.

When i clear the log, close the tool and reopen it it the application log remains empty. The error is still there unfortunatly. We did moved the DB from 1 SQL to a new SQL server last week. Maybe there is somewhere a reference to the old SQL server? I did remove and recreate the connection entry in the source configuration.
Hi,
A update on this issue. It still occurs that in offline i got the message saying the SQL server is offline. What is interesting the fact that it only occurs when we use 2-3 folders deep. For example we have a "company" folder, below we created subfolders for network, DC's SQL etc. i found that it is only happening as soon i open a folder more then 2-3 levels deep. Can you take this in consideration for testing. Other options i have tried:
- reinstalled RDM on other computer,
- export and import entries in a new clean provisioned DB.
Also both of above didnt help. We are a couple releases further now and hoping a fix can be proivided soon.

Anything in the logs? Still empty? I will try to reproduce with the new repro-steps provided and will get back to you. Do you use attachements? Todos? What active tabs do you have open at the time of the hang (SQL connect)? Could you send me a screen shot of RDM (I would like to see which tabs are open). Post, email (slavergne at devolutions dot net) or private message.
