I have a set of machines that are view only. if people duplicate that session and put it in their team folder (to make it easier to manage), we lose the benefit of warn if already open if someone tries to open the session from the view only section vs. someone opening from a team folder.
Is there a way around this? I tried to create a shortcut to see if that would work but with view only rights, doesn't seem to allow the shortcut to be created (but it does seem to solve the problem).
Also, is there a way to put a tiny arrow or something on the shortcut to make it clear it's a shortcut? i find it quite confusing

and me agian.... found a bug related to this.
I created a shortcut for a user since they didn't have permission.
When the user deleted the shortcut, they got prompted whether to delete this entry or all entries. when they clicked all entries, the shortcut got deleted but it also deleted the original session which they didn't have permission to delete (they only had view)
Hi,
I have entered a bug request for the security issue. I see what you mean with the shortcut but you have to know that we try to keep the shortcut transparent. I could eventually add an option to show it but this will be off by default.

You can now in the new version delete all the shortcuts only if you are an administrator

thanks. Based on how shortcuts are treated internally, I assume a user with view only rights to a session will not be able to create a shortcut and save it in a folder where they have edit rights?
Exactly
