Hello
We have a SQL-server based data source common for all users running RDM7.6.1.0
I just upgraded my test rdm application to 9.0.4.0 and accepted database upgrade.
Previous database upgrades has always been backwards compatible so I had no reason to belive otherwise.
Now all users of 7.6.1.0 gets a license expired error and when restarting rdm 7.6.1.0 the dashboard is no longer showing.
This has got all our support business to a halt while emergency upgrading all users to 9.0.4....
Have you not tested for backwards compatibility?
Regards
Magnus Pettersson

Hi,
Could you send me the error log to see what could be the problem. By the way. we test the backward compatibility with the last major release. In this case between the version 8 and 9.
However the version 9.0 was a major architecture change because of the new intelligent cache, perhaps this explain the issue.

Hi,
I've just tested the version 7.6 with my RDM 9.0 database and it's working. I will definitively need the log to find the problem source.
Sorry about that
