Everytime I try to create a folder in a vanilla installation (just downloaded V0.9.1.0) with the default local data source the app crashes.
Steps to reproduce:
- Download and install RDM Mac "Beta"
- Start RDM and wait 8 seconds (late 2013 MacBook Pro 15", fastest config) for the app to become responsive
- Click "Add Group/Folder"
- Enter something in the "Name" textfield
- Click "Create" button
- Crash
The app was in development for over a year and you haven't noticed this?
I'm sorry, but this is definitely not enough for a beta. It's an early alpha at best and should be tested internally first before letting users at it.
cheers,
jan
PS: The same happens for Credential Entries...

Hi,
The issues are fixed in the New version.
You can now "Check for Updates"
Thank you

The problem I'm having with the folders is that I keep all folders collapsed so I can get to the right one without having to scroll all over the place but when I edit or add a new entry ALL folders automatically expand. I then have to go and collapse them again. Is it possible to keep the folder on their current state (collapsed or expanded)?
Hi,
You're right it's pretty annoying. There is a couple of things about the way we are managing the TreeViewState.
We will fix that as soon as possible

I just wanted to update everyone that on version 0.9.7.0, I'm still having the issue with the folders.
@molikop
If you are talking about the auto expand, this is fixed internally but it was not included in the last build. It will be included tomorrow in the next build. Sorry about that and thank you for your patience.

Hi,
A new version is available with the tree state fixed.
You can now "Check for Updates" to try it
Thank you

I want to confirm that the folder state fix is in and working as I would expect it. Folders that are expand remain that way even after I close (command+q) and re-open the app. Good work guys, thank you very much
