Here's what I did..
-Downloaded beta
-Unzipped
-Copied app to Applications folder
-Launched application
-Created new connection
-Entered IP address in 'Name' field which auto populates 'Computer name:' field
-Clicked Create
-Double clicked the IP under 'Sessions'
-App crashes
Crash txt attached, please let me know if there's anything else I can provide to help. I'm running OS X Mavericks.
I also notice that the app takes longer than any other app I have to launch. I have an SSD so most apps just bounce once in the dock then launch while RDM bounces multiple times before launching. Not sure if that's in any way related but thought you should know.

Thank you for the detailed error report.
I'm going to investigate the issue and see if I can reproduce it here, then get back to you.
For the launch time, due to the framework that we use, the app is expected to launch slower than a native application. There is some overhead in initialising the Mono runtime at startup. However it is an area we will be optimising.
Can you give me an idea of how long it takes for the app to launch on your machine?
Thanks, Richard

This issue should be fixed in the latest version (0.9.1.0).
You can use 'Check for updates' to get the new version, or download directly from the release page
Thanks, Richard

Thanks, 0.9.1.0 took care of it.
The app takes about 15 seconds from click to showing the GUI on my late 2011 MBP w/8GB RAM and a SSD.
One other minor issue is the domain doesn't fully show when connecting to RDP. See below.

The space for the domain should be ok in the new version
You can "Check for Updates" and install the new version

Looks good now, thanks!
I did have one random crash after upgrading to the latest version. It happened right after clicking the X next to a tabbed RDP session but i haven't been able to recreate it. I attached the new crash data.

Thanks. This looks to be an issue in either the RDP component we use, or our glue to that component.
We have received a couple of similar reports and will investigate.

Hi,
The latest version now available (0.9.5.0) contains a number of stability improvements in RDP connections.
It would be great if you can test this new version and see if stability is better for you.
Thanks, Richard
