Multiple errors with Private Vault Credentials
Hello,
we have multiple problems with private vault entries. We use SQL-Server as Data-Source and RDM 9.0.3.0.
1. We usally use the Credentials as Data Entry Account. This works fine in the shared Sessions. But when i select User-Specific settings and select this entry from my private vault no automatic login appears. This only works if its an Credential Entry.
2. When i open RDM my private vaults appears correct. Then i change the Data Source to something else and then back to my first one where i have my private vault. Now its empty.
3. I would like to use an Session in my private vault with Credentials from my private vault. On an group i can select "Private Vault", but i cant select the entry himself. After that i edit this group again and now there is a message: "Unable to find the credential entry, this setting will be lost!" and it chages to Credential Repository with no entry selected.
4. I would like to use an Session in my private vault with Credentials from my private vault. On an session i cant select private vault.

#1 I have entered a bug request for that. This will be simple to fix.
#2 This seems to be a refresh problem. I will fix this as well
#3 This problem is already fixed internally. I have pushed the patch in the 9.0.3.0 zip file. You can unzip on your current installation if you don't want to wait for the next update
#4 I don't understand this one. You don't see the Private Vault item in the combo?

#1, #2 and #3 are now fixed in the patched version of RDM 9.0.3.0

I have tested with the patched Version (why dont you release it with a new Version 9.0.3.1 as example?)

#2 and #3 still exists. On a session i can now select private vault and select an entry, but on an Group i can only select private vault. No Dialog for selecting an entry appeares.
I will verify the bug for the group and release the version 9.0.4.0 with it. Thank you for your help
PS: It was faster to give you patched version than releasing an new version. When we release a new version, we have lot of sites/files to update for the referencing.

Hi,
For the group issue, you right the combo shows the Private vault but it's not supported. You need to use the User Specific Setting to link it. The next version will exclude the private vault option because it does not make sense

You're right. I've forgotten the case when you use it in the private vault
