v9.0.2 Windows key combinations on remote computer

v9.0.2 Windows key combinations on remote computer

avatar

This function seems to be broken. I use it very much and it is very annoying to have these key combinations on the local computer instead of the remote one if you are used to it. Please fix soon!

Best Regards

Same problem here!

Hi,
Have you tried to change it in the ribbon? Do you use the view only mode sometime?

I don't use view only mode and I have about 400 connections defined with key combinations sent to remote computer. I have tested it on my Notebook, which had the 9.0.1.0, where it worked perfectly, made the upgrade to 9.0.2.0 where it is broken.
I can't find the setting in the ribbon, except the settings button, where I see the same dialog, as when trying to edit a session.
The problem is reproducable on different machines, so it is a bug.

Hi,
I have found the issue. In the meantime you can use the ribbon to change it back to On the remote host. I'm currently rebuilding the version 9.0.2.0 and you will be able to overwrite the files by downloading the zip.

Hi, what do I have to do with all the files in the zip?

Just unzip it over your current installation.

but in my current installation there are subfolders...not in the zip

Just make sure to overwrite the executable

Has the 9.0.2 installer on the web site been updated also? If I download and use the installer to upgrade from 9.0.0, will I be ok?

avatar

Yes it has been updated but the installer will not copy the files if you already have installed the version 9.0.2.0
