Hello! What level of security is used to encrypt the passwords within RDM? Is it AES 128/256bit encrypted?
Thanks!
Hi,
It's 256 bits encryption, but soon, you will be able to create your own security provider and implements your own encryption.

In v5.9.0.0, you are now able to choose a security provider. However, this new feature is not really documented for the lamen.
What are the differences between the providers? And more importantly, which one is default?
Hi,
Sorry for the lack of documentation, we will add some topic soon. Here is a description:
Default: This is the default provider, backward compatible with the version 5.8. It used our how private key to encrypt the content of the xml if the option is checked in the Advanced tab
Basic: This provider use our own private key to encrypt all the xml
Passpharase: This provider required a passphrase combined with our own private key to create the encryption key. We use the Rijndael algorithm and a salt. Remember, that if you forget the passphrase, we won't be able to do anything for you, because it's never saved anywhere in the database.
Remember that all password are encrypted in the XML
