Installation on Terminal Server doesn´t work

avatar

Hello,

first of all I want to give you a big thanks for your great work and this great tool.

On my Stand-Alone-Installation everything works great, so I decited to make RDM to our Central Tool.
So I started installing it on an Win 2008 R2 Terminal Session Host. But I won´t work. Everytime a user logs on to
his Session an Starts RDM it seam that RDM has totaly refreshed. All options and stored connections are cleared and lost.
I´ve installed the software by using the local administration account and change to install mode.

Do you have an Idea, why RDM will not work?

Thanks for an answer

Stefan

Hi,
Install RDM in another folder than program files. For example c:\RDM.

Hi,
What do you mean by user specified sessions ? Do you use an SQL Server data source?

No I have started the RDM with the standard config after installation and added a new rdp session. then I closed RDM and logged out the user. After reconnecting the user and starting RDM the new added session was gone. I don´t use SQL Server data source.

Hi,
So you dont want to share the dabase between your users ?

The only solution for that, is to install it in a specific folder for each.
