Windows 7 and Domain Logon

avatar

Hello,
I am currently using version 5.8.3.0 in an XP (32 bit) environment. I connect to remote XP (32 bit) and Win7 (64 bit) workstations with domain logins, using the Remote Desktop Manager's Logon Settings. The XP connection works perfectly logging me into the workstation. The Windows 7 connection however, does not pass the domain information and attempts to logon to the workstation instead of the domain.

Here are my current settings (values changed for security purposes):

For now, I've enabled the Always ask fro credential button, but I would prefer that the logon run without manually entering the password. Is there something that I have configured incorrectly?

Thanks!

Hi,
Can you verify if it works in embedded mode ? Also, try to check "Network level authentication" in the RDP advanced options.

I was able to correct this by selecting the Save Password button, then entering the domain name and user name in the username field. Works perfectly now, thanks!
