Hi guys
I'm re-configuring our setup a bit, becouse of the new "My Personal Credentials" and the "Play List"option which we want to utilize.
My question is quite simple.
What variable should I use if I want to pass the "Domain" field from parent "Site" Group/Folder to a connection entry(see screenshots)?
Thank you :)

If I understand correctly your request, it's
$SITE_DOMAIN$
It's not listed and I haven't tested it but I will. Worst case scenario would be to use a custom field
$SITE_CUSTOM_FIELD1$

Hi David
Unfortunately it comes back/out as following "Dc01.$SITE_DOMAIN$".
I would really like to avoid using custom variable when it comes to a DOMAIN, espacially when it's already there and visible on the first tab :)
If it was possible, I would much rather wait until this was(if could be) implemented?
We also have multible "Group/Folder" groups which we might plan on using the same way(until I convert all to Sites). Would the same variable be relevant here?
Maybe you could add a new Domain group option to the "Add Group/Folder[Ctrl+Shift+N]" with domain icons instead and add variables to domain fields inside that?
Our tree setup:
Customer
-Site1
--Servers
---Domain1
----RDP entrys
---Domain2
----RDP entrys
--Printers
--Switches/Firewalls
etc.
I always come with the easy requests, right! :)
As always, thank you.

Hi again
Any headway/comments on this?
I know I'm being impatient, but I would love to get this into our RDM production setup, so we can start RDP sessions without having to input any credentials(by using privet credentials)?
Thank you.

I'm working on this one and I hope to included this in the first official update of RDM 9.0 later this week.

Gracias :)
Just let me know if you want me to test it out.

I just wanted to confirm, that this variable is working now "$SITE_DOMAIN$" only if you use Site group.
Thank you.
(please consider my suggestion about making a new group "Domain" with a new icon, which would also have a variable[for example $DOMAIN_DOMAIN$] for the domain field). It would just fit better into a logical grouping/tree structure)

This is a very good idea. I will add it for the next update.

Thank you very much David :)
