At the moment we use sharepoint for all our knowledge base including passwords . we have over 100 customers and I'm looking for the best way to store all the password in one place not have a credential repository for each customer. I'm not interested in the feature to automatically populate the RDP sessions I just want a structured passworded/secure password list for everyone.
Thanks
Have you looked at Password Vault Manager? (http://passwordvaultmanager.com/)
It has the same security features as Remote Desktop Manager: security groups, permissions, advanced logs
If your objective is only to hold information securely, then its your best choice.

Thanks, will the free vesion do what I need ?
well, the unknown is when you say "For everyone", how many users are there?
Also, the free edition does not allow you to assign permissions.

For example if we had 10 customers each one has
router
firewall
servers
switches
all with there own passwords so I just want somewhere secure to view them
We have clients with thousands of entries, thats no problem
the real issue is the number of users, if they connect the the system concurrently, if there are many changes to the data, etc, etc
The standard edition is not meant for teams. Some of our users do use it with xml files within a small team, but there is a risk of having contention issues with the file. For teams, using a database system as a backend is a critical success factor in our view.

Ah right sorry got it the wrong way round. I understand now. Is there a guide to linking keepass in as I cant quite get that working.
Thanks
never mind I've got keepass working how it should be now.
However I have another question if I add account onto the data type will that also be available off line. Is there a way to make it only available when connected or would I have to create a seperate database and configure it so it cant go offline ?
you are correct, you must create another datasource and disallow the offline mode.
