Hi, I have an WinXP 64-bit and if I try to open a remote session with activated "Open in Console (Admin mode)" I get a window "Remote Desktop Connection Usage", so I can not establish a connection.
It seems that there is no RD 7 for WinXP 64-bit wich may solve this problem!?
Do you have a solution for this problem?
Hi,
They changed the command line parameter in RDP 6.1 I think but It's still possible to use the previous one in RDM. Go in the application options, in the Session Type tab page and check Use old Remote Desktop console connection.

Thanks, that works fine!
I'm experiencing the same problem when activating 'Open in Console'.
I'm running RDM Enterprise v5.8.2.1 on XP with sp2.
I cannot locate the Session Type tab page and Application options you refer to.
Is it different on the Enterprise version?
Hi,
It's in the application option, not the session settings. You can get it by the menu File->Options...

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. It's working now!
