5.8.1 duplicated connection save problem

When I duplicate a RDP connection which uses a credential reporsitory i can change the repository and save and all is well but if I change to store password in database and save it doesnt change and reverts back to the repository setting. I have to create a whole new connection session to use any other authentication method.
