Is there a way to always open in embedded mode?

I've been hunting around in the options menu and so far I haven't found a way to make the default (when double clicking a connection) action be to open a new connection in embedded / tabbed mode. Is there a way to do this? The only thread I can find with a similar question is this one:

and although an option to create all new sessions as embedded is mentioned, I can't find it anywhere. The only place I can find anything similar to that option is under the quickconnect options. Could someone point me in the right direction?
