RDM 2026.3.13.0 - Window garbling of undocked RDP sessions when doing a Microsoft Teams screen share

Hi Erica.

2026.3.13.0 seems to fix the open-undocked sizing and location problem. Thanks.

However -
I did notice window garbling of undocked RDP sessions when doing a Microsoft Teams screen share of the entire screen.
Also very annoying: The empty undocked tab in main window takes focus when shifting focus to undocked screen. This makes it impossible to see other docked screens while using an undocked screen.

BR,
Søren

@Søren Hello,

Thanks for confirming the sizing and location fix.
I've moved your message to a new thread since this is separate issues.

For the focus issue, the main window being raised along with an undocked session is something we're already working on. Several undocked-window and focus fixes are planned for 2026.3.14.0. I can't promise yet that yours is covered, so please retest once it's out.

For the garbling during the Teams share, we haven't seen this reported before. Could you tell us:

  1. Are you sharing the entire screen or a single window? Does it also happen when sharing only the RDM window?
  2. Is Screen capture protection enabled in RDM (File > Options)?
  3. Is the session RDP (Microsoft) or FreeRDP, and is the garbling only in the shared view or also on your own screen?
  4. Does it still happen with hardware acceleration disabled in Teams (Settings > General)?
  5. A short screenshot or recording of what viewers see would help a lot. You can send it to my DMs if you prefer or if it contains sensitive information.

Thanks,
