Hello!
I'm wondering how to choose which harddrives to be used in Remote Desktop-connection.
If I have multiple drives mapped, I don't want all of them to be used.
When using Windows remote desktop connection-software, it allows to check which harddrives to use.
How can that be done with this Remote DeskTop Manager?
Thank you!
Hi,
We are aware that this feature is missing, this is planned for the version 5.8 and it should be available shortly.
Thank you.

Hi!
I'm using version 5.8.1 now and this looks good... But, specifying local drives does't work, I think.
If I specify only D-drive as local resource, that is not visible in remote session. I have only D-drive checked, Disk drives-check box can not be checked without getting all disk drives. Mayby I have understood how this works...
Hi,
Can you send a print screen at support@devolutions.net of the Select Local Drive Dialog ? Also, can you export your session to a rdp file, you can open it rename your server for security reason if it's an external IP. Send me this file also.
My last question, have you tried to use it in External mode or embedded ? Can you try both to see if they are both not working?
Thank you
David Hervieux
I have sent those by email now.
Embedded or full screen, it works same way...
Hi,
Thank you, I'm not at the office right now, I will look at it when I'm back. I did a small search and found that in the previous RDP, therive were not identified the same way than in the version 7.0? What RDP client do you have installed ?

I've used Microsoft Remote Desktop (mstsc.exe) for remote sessions.
Hi,
Yes do you have the latest version of mstsc.exe ?
