2026.3.x navigation filter focus & up/down arrows

Before 2026.3.x, clicking the navigation bar automatically focused the filter textbox (and also selected all text) so you could just click navigation to unhide it and start typing right away.

Now you need to click navigation, click filter textbox, delete current filter and then start typing, which is much less productive.


Also, as reported in another thread, when editing (navigation bar) filter, you can still press ENTER to open selected entry, but up/down arrows now changes filter based on filter history (nuking the filter you just typed and forcing you to erase/retype filter again), instead of moving entry selection like before. I don't know if this is an intentional change, but the previous behavior was MUCH more preferred.

The other thread mentions 2026.3.10.0 fixed the second issue, but it did not in my case.
