key shortcut to close a tab

This action is not set by default, but you should be able to set "Close" in the "Action" category to a key bind of your liking.

In RDM Windows, if you want a key shortcut to close a tab, you can set one under File → Settings → User interface → Keyboard. In the list under "Actions", there will be "Close". There you can set the mode and the shortcut you want for the "Close" action.

Please note that if your entry has the local resources setting for the keyboard set to apply the key combinations to the remote computer, you will need to be out of focus for your shortcut to work.

I tested a bit more, seems this problme may relate with some of key shortcut not working very well in SSH terminal, I used setup CTLR+SHIFT+LEFT or RIGHT to select different tabs,

Now when I input those shortcut in ssh terminal, I got ";6C" or ";6D" instead in SSH terminal.


I guess close tab key shortcut may also link with this issue.

This problem seems not persistent, I tried few more times, didn't get it reproduced. But it happens time by time.

I think there is a problem with key shortcut in SSH terminal, due to some reason, when you open ssh terminal all the key shortcut of application not working. But this not happen all the time.

But my magenit icon shows on.
