2026.3.8 - RDP sessions randomly going blank when switching tabs.

Started after RDM was upgraded to 2026.3.5. I noticed almost immediately that active RDP session tabs would occasionally go blank. Most of time, it happened when I switched tabs. When I switched back to an inactive RDP tab, it would be a white screen. I basically had to use the cursor to reveal of the desktop, very much like using a coin on a scratch off lottery ticket.

Sometimes the screen will restore fully after a few swipes....other instances I need to reveal more of the screen before the desktop restores.

It's annoying but certainly something that didn't exist in 2026.2.x

We are aware of this issue and the development team is currently working to resolve it.
In the meantime, one workaround is to click another tab and come back. It should redraw the session instead of having to use the cursor to do it.

same issue, have to hold mouse to highlight whats otherwise not showing

I have had the same issue and every time that I had to switch a tab, I had to move the navigation pane line to get it to show the screen properly. It doesn't always happen between tabs, but most of the time. On this session I was running a pinned navigation pane and use smart sizing in my VM display settings.

Hi,

After the most recent update, this is still occurring. I find that it is also happening when minimizing Remote Desktop Manager to the taskbar and when it is clicked and maximizes, it is not displaying within the tabs.

I am mostly running RDP sessions to Windows Servers anywhere from 2016 to 2025 if that helps. This one is nested from using Remote Desktop Manager to a jump server that is running Remote Desktop Manager which I use to remote to other servers. The one with the issue, which started within the last 2 updates, is on the remote jump server.
