2026.3 - DisableTopPane no longer works / replacement policy?
After upgrading to RDM 2026.3, the DisableTopPane policy no longer seems to do anything.
Before 2026.3 we used:HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManager\DisableTopPane = 1
This worked great because we use RDM for some non-admin users who only need access to a few approved RDP connections. We lock down most of the rest of the application through ADMX policies, and hiding the top pane made RDM behave much more like a simple RDP launcher instead of exposing the full management interface.
With the new 2026.3 UI, the top toolbar is visible again even though DisableTopPane is still set to 1.
I also checked the current ADMX and it looks like DisableTopPane has been removed entirely. I don't see an obvious replacement for hiding the new toolbar/header.
Is there a new policy or registry value for this in 2026.3?
If not, could an equivalent policy be added back? This was a really useful option for locked-down deployments. Even when the underlying features are disabled through other policies, having all of the extra UI visible creates unnecessary confusion for users who only need RDP access.

This setting was removed because more features such as an improved search, the user account panel (with the role overview (in DVLS)), etc. are being moved to the top pane. May I ask if there is a reason your users do not use the Devolutions Launcher if the goal is to launch RDP sessions only?
The Launcher is basically a light version of RDM made solely to launch sessions. However, it only works with our own workspaces Devolutions Cloud (Hub) or Devolutions Server.
So maybe you are on SQL Server and that is why you cannot use the Launcher?

We are not using Devolutions Server, Devolutions Cloud, or a SQL data source. We use RDM locally for a small amount of RDP connections that people manage themselves in our restricted environment. Disabling the top ribbon was part of how we documented our use of least functionality for RDM.
