Idra (CyberArk) connection to Devolution issue

Idra (CyberArk) connection to Devolution issue

avatar

Hi,
I updated Devolutions to the latest version, and now when Idra (CyberArk) changes the password, I cannot connect to the server via RDP — it shows “Wrong password.” It looks like Devolutions is not syncing the password properly.
This first happened a few days ago. After I manually changed the password in Idra a couple of times, it started working and I was able to connect to that server.
Today the same issue occurred with a different server. The password was changed automatically, and I can no longer access the server.

Hi,

Thanks for reporting this.
To help pin down the cause, could you confirm which version of Remote Desktop Manager for Mac you updated to (the exact version number, you can find it in the "About" window of Remote Desktop Manager)?

Can you describe how your CyberArk (Idra) integration is set up? Is the RDP entry linked to a CyberArk credential entry?

Best regards,

Hi and thank you for the quick reply.
Version is 2026.2.5.1.
I tried connecting today to the server I couldn’t access yesterday, and it is working now. It seems there is a delayed synchronization.
Regarding how the connection is set up — I’m not completely sure, as I don’t administer that server, but I can describe what I see.
I have an account, so when I set up a connection for the first time, I need to configure the connection to the server and the database on that server.
When I want to add a connection to a server, I first need to add credentials:

Type: CyberArk PVWA
Resolving mode: Injection
Web service address
SAML authentication

Then, in the Account box, we add the path to IDRA’s password account for that server.
After that, we create the RDP access to the server.

Hope this is enough for you.

Have nice day.
