Hi

currently I use printable output log mode, it will log everything, but one thing make me confused, seems it will log all the keyboard input, (include keyboard typo), it makes log difficult to understand sometime. Here is one of example, is possible optimze this to only logging when press enter to avoid logging those key typo?

Hello.

Thank you for the example.

The behavior you are seeing is related to how the Printable output log mode works. It records the terminal output as it is written, which can include characters typed while editing a command. Because of this, typos and corrections made with Backspace may still appear in the resulting log file.

At the moment, I’m not aware of an option that would make Printable output wait until Enter is pressed before logging the command.

Your suggestion makes sense, especially for keeping command logs easier to read.

Would you like me to switch this forum post to a Feature Request so our team can consider adding this functionality?

Best regards,
