DVLS Version number in RDM

Thank you for the request, I've moved your thread to the RDM forum as it's more of a request in RDM specifically.

I think it would make sense to make the server version more readily accessible. Do you need it visible at all times? I'm thinking adding it as hover text over the RDM version text might make it just as useful and keep space on the status bar (there's a surprising amount of possible buttons and information that already shows there, depending on your context).

yes, this is a nice idea, to show it only, when you over over the green globe.

Perfect, I've opened an internal ticket so we can add a hover text on the version number to get more information about the server version. We'll post back here once we have an update.

Updating you on this, with release 2026.3 we will have a hover text on the version label that will give you the server version as well when you're connected to DVLS:
