Disabling the AI Agent for All Users via the Devolutions Console

avatar

Hello,
We are currently using version 2026.2 and would like to disable the use of the AI agent for all users until we have internally evaluated its potential applications.
I understand that this can be done via Group Policy (GPO), but is there also a way to configure this through the Devolutions Console?
Kind regards,

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out.

At this time, there is no option to disable the AI Agent through the Devolutions Console. Since this is an application-level setting in Remote Desktop Manager, the recommended method to disable it for all users is through the corresponding Group Policy (GPO).

It is also worth noting that the AI functionality requires additional configuration before it can be used. As indicated in the documentation, the end user must configure the appropriate AI provider and provide the required API key. Therefore, the feature cannot simply be used without first completing this configuration.

For an organization-wide restriction, however, using the GPO remains the recommended approach.
