Credential lists are not filtered with "spaces as AND"

image003.pngWhen we are searching for credentials in a vault, they are not filtered with "treat spaces as AND" so we can't find any entries unless we write them exactly as they are written.

There is an option to enable "treat spaces as AND" for password entries, but it's not inherited to credentials.

So please fix that, so the search for credentials works like everywhere else. Thanks!

Hello,

I've opened an internal ticket, we'll see what we can do. The existing settings were meant to apply to the filter in the status bar, and the filter in the password list entry, originally.

We could see if it would make sense to either apply the existing setting to other contexts, or creating a new setting for them.

Hi Hubert

Thanks a lot. I think if someone selects that he wants space treated as AND, he wants that everywhere. I even think this should be standard. I don't know any search which does not have space as and as default. 😉

But I can live also with an additional setting.

Just wanted to follow on this, as we are reconnecting a lot of credentials and without a proper search, it takes a lot longer, as we need to search for the entries in RDM before we can search them in the list, as we need the exact naming.
