This really doesn't have to do with cisco cimc, but a broader question. I was trying to connect to these devices via RDM and was able to get the page to load but wouldn't enter the login credentials. So i copied the idrac session sense I was able to get them working with my idrac's and it worked. So my question is, should the session type be call dell idrac since it can be used with other connections like cisco cimc. In fact, how many other type of connections would work with this type of connection?

Hi @G-rant001,
Thanks for reaching out, and for the extra context.
Regarding your original attempt (before cloning the iDRAC session), one common cause when the page loads but the credentials aren't entered automatically is that the entry was set up as a Website entry, and the HTML form on the login page wasn't filled in the way RDM expected.
If that's what you used, here is a guide on how to configure the Website entry and troubleshoot the automatic form fill:
Website authentication with Remote Desktop Manager Windows | Devolutions RDM | Devolutions Documentation
To help us confirm this and answer your broader question about session type compatibility, could you let us know:
Looking forward to your reply.

I will test it out, but my point is that naming the one idrac implies that it is only an idrac connection. I would relabel this because it can clearly do other things. Just a thought.
