Hello,
I am using Passworstate as passwords vault and there are two annoying "issues" in the selecting password window:
1
Starting from this window
I for example I have to reopen several sessions after a restart, I can not see what server the password I am selecting is related to. It might me very useful to put in this windows the name of the session is related to.
2
If I have to select a password from a server that has more than one password saved, I can not see what username I am selecting
so place username together to the name of the password might be the definitive solution.
Thanks in advance.
Bye.
Alessio

Hello,
We have opened a ticket to improve this and will let you know once we have a implemented it or if the API does not allow us to implement it.

Hello,
I've investigated the information we can fetch from PasswordState when acquiring Password Lists and Passwords.
We can display "Username" along as a column in the Password selection. I've added this and you can expect this with the upcoming 2026.3 version.
However we have nothing that resembles "Server" when fetching Password Lists. We can provide you with the column Description, but other than that, there isn't much we can do.
I've similarly added this column for the upcoming version.
Please let us know if this is sufficient for you.

Hello,
very well for the "Username" field.
About "Server" I guess it is enough if you can get the name of the opening object/session. Description field is not needed in my opinion.
If you can show a label like "Choose password for <session_name>" it can make clear to the user what server he is choosing password for.
I hope I was clear enough.
Many thanks.

Hello,
To clarify, You're requesting that the name of the credential entry itself would appear in the header of the Password List prompt, or the name of the launching session that is currently using the credential?

The second one: the name of the launching session that will use the credential.
Hello,
We can work that in. These changes will take effect with the upcoming 2026.3 version. You will have the name of the launching session in the Password List prompt for Password State.
