Hi.

Since the latest two releases of RDM I have a big problem with "jumping tabs": when more than 5 session are opened (especially SSH connections) at a time RDM "jumps" constantly every second between each session. If I keep it down to a maximum of 4 connections RDM works as desired.

Version: 2026.2.12.0 64-bit (JIT)

Hello Chris,

I tried to reproduce the issue on my end by opening 25 SSH sessions simultaneously, but I wasn't able to recreate the tab jumping behavior you described.

Could you let me know if there is anything special about your SSH sessions? For example:

  • Are you using embedded terminals or an external terminal?
  • Do they have any special macros, triggers, or scripts configured?
  • Are they connected through a jump host, Gateway, or another intermediary?


Any additional details about your SSH session configuration could help us reproduce the issue.
