Hi, I have two identical installations, one on my work PC and one on my laptop. On my laptop, icontray no longer shows RDP connections.

I'm attaching a photo of icontray working. On my laptop, it's simply empty. The settings are identical.

Thank you
Marco

Hello Marco,

Thank you for reaching out!

Can you please provide some more information so we can take a closer look:

  • What version of RDM are you currently using?
  • What workspace (formally known as data source) do you have configured?
  • Did the icontray disappear after an update or something specific?
  • Is it not visible on all RDP connections or only some?

Thank you in advance!

Best regards,

Sam

Hi
Now I use 2026.2.13.0 64-bit (JIT), but I think the problem is the upgrade, as you can see at the attachment.

Hello Marco,

Thank you for the feedback.

Could you please move the RDP sessions from your User vault to the shared Vault, and they should appear.

The User vault is private, which is probably why they are not showing up.

Please let us know if that works for you.

Best regards,

Sam.

Hi Sam, thank you for the answer but, how could I move RDP session from user vault to shared vault?

Hello Marco,

To move entries from one vault to the next, please do the following:

  1. Right-click on the entry you want to move
  2. Scroll down in the context menu and select "Clipboard"
  3. Once there, select "copy entry". A pop-up will appear, then please ensure "Generate New IDs" is selected.
  4. Then, go to your shared vault, right-click on the navigation pane where your entries are stored, go to "Clipboard" in the context menu again, and select "paste entry"
  5. The entry should appear in the shared vault then.

If you have further questions, we would be happy to help!

Best regards,

Sam.
