Parallels add-on removed in 2026.2.x – how are you handling this?

Hello,
I’ve just noticed that the Parallels add-on has been removed starting from RDM 2026.2.5.0, and it’s no longer available in recent versions (currently running 2026.2.7.0).
In our setup, some connections relied on this integration, and since the update:
- the add-on is gone
- existing connections are no longer working
Support confirmed that the only option for now is to roll back to 2026.1.x, but that’s obviously not a viable long-term solution.
👉 So I’m wondering:
- Has anyone found a clean alternative to manage Parallels connections?
- Is there a recommended new approach in RDM for this type of use case?
- Are there any plans to reintroduce or replace this functionality?

Thank you for bringing this up. In 2026.2, there's a lot of deprecated and end of life integrations we removed, but we may have been too eager to remove certain integrations. We will open a ticket to bring this back.
