What kind of account do you need for the MCP server connection?

Hello Team,

I have a running MCP connection from RDM to Claude Code (CLI) but RDM reports my the follwing when trying to use the AI Assistant:

Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten: Status Code: BadRequest {"type":"error","error":{"type":"invalid_request_error","message":"Your credit balance is too low to access the Anthropic API. Please go to Plans & Billing to upgrade or purchase credits."},"request_id":"req_011C2SDfXTVhPLoxyQoC2WG"}

I have a Claude Pro-Account.

Hello,
Are you using an API key for Claude? For external integration, Anthropic requires using usage-based billing, unfortunately, and not the included subscription quota.

I only have a subscription quota and do not use an API-Key.

Is there a chance to connect RDM to Claude CLI?

Hello Tom,

Thank you for this feedback.

Unfortunately, I cannot find the documentation that explains how to configure it.
However, you have this information in RDM under Tools -> More Tools -> MCP server.

You have a tab, Claude CLI, that explains how to configure the MCP.
