Memory Usage

I tried to switch to my Remote Desktop Manager window today and saw a fatal error message (all white, no data) and the program closed. The app log (snippet attached) shows an out of memory exception. Upon restart, all I did was open my Website link to these forums, and RDM is using 566,908K of memory! I have 6GB of RAM in my owrkstation so I'm not too concerned, but that seems like a ridiculous amount of memory for a remote control app to use, especially on startup. Up to 573,960 K now...

It appears to have something to do with the session management. Upon restart of the app, I only opened my one website, but in Opened Sessions it still showed VMware Infrastrucutre client, two consoles, my local VMware Workstation VM's running, a couple of putty sessions, and Radmin Viewer with two sessions opened. I manually closed all those, RDM lost about 300MB of memory usage, restarted RDM, and this time it came up with only using 44MB. What's weid is this time I launched my VMware client, Workstation, and Radmin Viewer sessions from outside of RDM but they still show as opened sessions in RDM. Luckily getting me back to everything I had open before only rose the amount of RAM RDM is using to 56MB. Going to let this run for a bit. It does still show a Command Prompt session open from three days ago, but I have no command.com or cmd.exe processes running on my system.

Hi,
How many session approximately do you have in your database ? Do you have many custom images ?

And for the opened session, RDM find opened session even if it's not started from the application.

I'm not sure what a custom image is, but I have 685 entries right now.

Hi,
I did some memory profiling and I found some leak, can you try the latest beta ?
