Subject:Color code objects

Would it be possible to color code the objects in the Navigation pane? We want to be able to quickly differentiate between two different environments just by looking at the pane and not having to open it or add details to the name of the object.

The problem is that we now use the color for the status. I'm not sure how we could mix that. Do you have an idea?

Would it be possible to color highlight the object instead of changing the text color? Or allow us to add status entries so that they could be customized?
Sorry to add to an old thread...didn't know if there was ever a solution or feature enhancement.
I too am looking for a way to color code environments (as a visual guide on production vs. test). Don't need this at server level, just folder/container level. Could this be done via a font function?
In Entry -> User Interface there you should be able to change font-color
