Extreamely Slow Startup

avatar

I love this sproduct however, for each new "improvement", the startup keeps getting worsen
at times a minute or two before is ready. Keep trying to start it, adds multiple instances and never opens
ISSUES:

  • Task manager shows muiltiple instances
  • App never starts
  • Crawling startup upto 2 mins at times
  • I own 3 PCS the app behaves the same wayin every PC
  • Nothing wrong with the PCS, all ussing lates M.2 7000 speed
  • Untill the App STARTS, all access to desktop and or apps in the Monitor on which is being lunched LOCKS, cant do anything till finished, this is by far the worse of all issue
  • In Multiple PCS like my case, ussing the Same account, should be able to load all my System on any PC, instead, I must maitain each one independently, very frustrating
  • Exporting the systems from one PC and reload into another PC is agonazing and NOW impossible

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback.

What RDM version are you using, and what data source type are you connected to?

Could you validate the following solutions, if any of them help?
https://docs.devolutions.net/rdm/kb/troubleshooting-articles/startup-performance/

Thank you for your collaboration.

Best regards,

Thank you for Erica, Im using version Version 2026.1.18.0, I keep it updated hence my complaint above
As per the usage, I have about 60 VMs which I manage via RDP
The has always beena bit slow, but it just gotten worse on each update
Over all the app is amazing and I loave it, only that in times of pressure, waiting for it while in a presentation and or support meeting, its a bummer :(
BTW, I just sent a System DIagnosis

Hello,

Thank you for the additional details.

Could you confirm the ticket number or send date of the System Diagnostic so we can locate it on our side?

Could you also share the following so we can investigate further:

1. The data source type you are using (SQL Server, Devolutions Server, Devolutions Hub, local XML, etc.)
2. The approximate number of entries in your data source
3. The specifications of the machines affected (CPU, RAM, OS version)

Best regards,

Carl Marien
