KeepassXC integration

Thanks for the suggestion. Could you clarify what you have in mind exactly? There are a few possibilities:

1. Reading a KeePassXC database file (.kdbx): RDM already supports this. Since KeePass and KeePassXC both use the same .kdbx format, you should be able to point RDM to a KeePassXC-created database and it will work as a credential source.
2. A live integration with a running KeePassXC instance: KeePassXC does expose an IPC-based API (used for browser extensions), but as you noted, it doesn't support traditional plugins the way KeePass does.

If option 1 covers your needs, you might already be good to go. If something isn't working as expected with your KeePassXC database, let us know and we'll investigate.

Thanks a lot for the quick reply.

It's either I'm too dumb to find the same settings which you mention or my edition (free personal) doesn't include a search for *.kdbx files.

You are right, it's not in the free version, but give it a try with a trial. I don't want to promise anything, but I'm not comfortable including commercial products like LastPass or 1Password. However, for KeePass, we could consider including it in the free version.

Just let me know first if anything is missing. We could investigate ourselves, but we have so many things on our plate right now. This would help us prioritize.
