Typically, the same directories are often used for SFTP transfers (this applies to both the host and the client). It would therefore be extremely useful if you could define 3, 5 or 10 favourite directories for each side, thereby enabling you to work much more quickly.
Hello,
Thank you for the request, I think it would be an interesting addition. Out of curiosity, have you used a different SFTP client that also supports this? I'm asking as maybe we could take inspiration from their workflow.

Hello,
We already have the concept of 'Bookmarks' that allow you to navigate quicker (in the remote side only at the moment). Was this what you were looking for? If so, we could add the same thing to the local tab.

Hallo,
yes, there are bookmarks for the remote site.
But why aren’t there any for the local directories?
Incidentally, the ‘local’ bookmarks shouldn’t be tied to the SSH terminal either, but should be available across the board...

Mr Mireault,
Once again, my answer to your question is: have a look at WinSCP ;-)
When it comes to FTP/SFTP/SCP, this software has been and remains one of the most widely used on Windows.
Thanks for the feedback! I wasn't sure whether WinSCP had this as well so I figured I'd ask. As you say, it's one of the more widely used applications and whenever we're working on our SFTP integration, I try to ensure we get closer to its featureset with each improvement. In the past, we had the same process with PuTTY and our SSH integration.
I'll check with Jonathan so we can add the bookmark feature to the local section as well, and make sure that it applies no matter the entry so you don't need to reconfigure it every time.
