Hi there,
i'm trying to configure this connection string.
UserJumpHost@UserTarget#domain.com@TargetIP@JumpHostIP
if i set this as hostname and setup the keyfile, it works. But it somehow looks wrong to me and i wanted my entries just to use the ip and setup the jump host seperatly.
i tried a few combinations, but nothing worked. What is the correct way to set this up?
in most cases, JumpHostIP is asking for a password but none worked. Using the above connection string works without entering a password, of course, the used keyfile is unlocked.

Small update
Creating a ssh session with the following parameters also work
Obviously this is still clunky and not working for bulk edit.
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out regarding this matter.
I recommend reviewing our native Jump Host feature. You can find more information in the following documentation:
https://docs.devolutions.net/rdm/devolutions-ecosystem/rdm-jump/
Additionally, please let me know if a tunnel or a gateway solution might suit your needs, as we offer similar features that could be helpful.
Regarding your current setup, I would appreciate some clarification. Could you please share sanitized screenshots of your entry configuration? This will help me better understand what you are trying to achieve.
I look forward to your reply.
Best regards,

Hi,
thanks for your answer.
Its not that easy to explain better, but i will give it a try.
I don't have insights to the jump host, so i don't know its configuration. It is a SSH connection.
It works when using "UserJumpHost@UserTarget#domain.com@TargetIP@JumpHostIP" in putty as hostname.
It also works when i use this as hostname in rdm.
Of course, i could configure each entry like this, and only change TargetIP for each one. But this seems a lot wof work and doesn't allow a bulk edit.
UserJumpHost, UserTarget#domain.com and JumpHostIP are constants for each entry.
I want it a bit more modular, imagine the ip of JumpHostIP changes. Then i need to edit every single entry.
It seems, the jump host is expecting UserJumpHost@UserTarget#domain.com@TargetIP as "username" and will do the login for the TargetIP.
Hello,
Thank you for your follow-up.
At this time, there is no more efficient native method than editing each entry individually. However, you may find it helpful to use variables and custom variables to streamline the process. I recommend referring to the following documentation:
https://docs.devolutions.net/rdm/kb/knowledge-base/access-manage-rdm-variables/
Please review the article, test a few scenarios, and let me know if this approach works for you or if you have any further questions.
