SFTP file type distinction and related conversion

The built-in SFTP for SSH sessions is useful. However, there is no way to distinguish between binary and text files. In particular, I really miss the automatic conversion of line breaks when transferring text files between Unix and Windows (take a look at WinSCP ;-)

Thank you for the request. I'll open a ticket and we'll see what we can do. As you mention, if WinSCP is able to do this, we should be able to. We'll check how WinSCP handles this and see about replicating this.
