RDP – Disconnection when switching from docked window to full‑screen mode

Hello,

When switching the RDP session from dock/undock (windowed mode) to full‑screen mode, the RDP connection drops and reconnects automatically after 1–2 attempts.
This issue does not occur when performing the reverse action, i.e., moving from full‑screen mode back to a docked/windowed session.

Remote desktop: 2026.1.11.0 64-bit (PreJIT)

Thank you for reporting this.

I was able to recreate the issue when switching an RDP session from a docked/windowed mode to full-screen mode. The connection drops briefly and then reconnects.
I will go ahead and create a bug report with our development team so they can investigate the behavior further.
