Is there a setting that allows you to scroll through terminal history? Currently when I type a command with a lot of output, it only allows me to see one page worth of output. I changed the wheel scroll option and it scrolls up the page, but I still can't see the command I entered or any earlier input/output in the terminal.
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this,
Could you please specify the version of RDM you are currently using?
What type of data source are you using?
That being said, in your entry Properties under the "Terminal" -> "Configuration" section, you can change the "Max scrollback lines" option. Could you give this a try and let me know if it helps with your issue?
Best regards,
Samuel Dery
Thanks for responding Samuel.
I'm on 2024.3.21.0 64-bit
I don't see that option under terminal settings, do I need a newer version?
I'm not sure what you mean by data source. I'm using SSH terminal option to connect to linux VM's. When I type in a command with a lot of output, ie ls -lah in a large directory, I can not scroll back to see the beginning of the command output or the command I entered. If I zoom out to make everything super tiny, I can see them.
Hello,
Thank you for your reply,
We have the following knowledge base article explaining the data source types:
https://docs.devolutions.net/rdm/data-sources/data-sources-types/
If you can provide me with a screenshot of your data source under "File" -> "Data sources" I can confirm this for you.
Let me know,
Best regards,

Hello,
Thank you for your reply,
I see, in that case, I would recommend you update to the latest version 2026.1.14.0
https://devolutions.net/remote-desktop-manager/home/thankyou/rdmsetup/
Let me know if you still do not see the option using this version.
Best regards,
